Busy January for Monarch

Holiday airline Monarch reported strong demand for its scheduled flights in January, with average load factors across its network 77%, a 1 percentage point increase on the same month last year.
The Canary Islands of Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Tenerife were the most popular destinations again this year. Almost 70,000 holidaymakers flew to these popular winter sun islands last month - a 26% increase on 2009.
