Vinci win forecourt job
03.08.10
Vinci has been awarded a contract to improve the forecourt to Gatwick’s south terminal, part of a £30m redevelopment of the terminal started last June and due to be completed in time for the London Olympics. The contractor will build a new coach waiting area, ticket booths and a new road system.
The airport’s director of capital projects, Raymond Melee, said: ‘This is one of our key strategic projects within our £1bn investment programme. We are excited about these new facilities and hope the Department for Transport also gives the go ahead for the planned £53m investment in the Gatwick rail station.’
