Air Southwest most punctual at Gatwick last year

Air Southwest was the most punctual scheduled airline departing from Gatwick last year. Aviation analytics website flightontime.info, using figures from the CAA, found that the Plymouth-based airline was number one among the airlines flying from the airport during 2007.
Air Southwest flies 4 times daily between Gatwick and Plymouth and Newquay, with nearly 3000 of flights from the airport last year. Its chief executive, Jim Cameron, said: ‘It is fantastic news. It shows that getting flights on time is our absolute priority. This achievement is testament to the skill and efforts of all our crews and our teams on the ground.’
