Weather continues to disrupt flights

Hundreds of passengers spent last night stranded at Gatwick Airport after more than 400 flights were cancelled yesterday because of the snow. The runway reopened yesterday evening after a day of disruption, but passengers are continuing to face cancellations because of the weather.
easyJet is cancelling about 70 flights and British Airways will also cancel some flights today. A spokesman for the airport has urged passengers to contact their airline for information before travelling to Gatwick.
