Airparks, the UK’s largest off airport parking company with car parks at Manchester, Luton and Gatwick, yesterday announced the findings of it’s mystery shopper survey recently undertaken at 4 of its UK airport parking sites. They found that check in times were below five minutes 82% of the time, and that transfer times to the airports had been also good, with over half of the shuttle rides taking less than fifteen minutes.
Tristan MacIntyre-Read, site experience manager at Airparks, said: ‘Savings can be substantial for holidaymakers who park at off airport car parks. At Gatwick, one week’s parking at Airparks is, on average, £47.95 cheaper compared with the other long-stay, off-site car parks serving the airport. And when compared with three of the short stay, on-airport car parks Airparks is cheaper by £54.33 on average.'
