Spanish air traffic controllers call off strike

Spanish air traffic controllers have called off strike action planned for later this month. The union representing the air traffic controllers said that it wanted to avoid hurting Spanish Tourism.
On August 3 Spanish air traffic controllers voted in favour of a strike to protest against Government changes to working conditions. After a 4 hour meeting yesterday, the air traffic controllers decided to delay the strike, at least for August.
