bmi to challenge airport price increases
13.04.08
bmi has told the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) that it is seeking a judicial review of the authority's decision to allow large increases in landing charges at Heathrow and Gatwick, the Telegraph reports.
A letter was sent by bmi last week telling the CAA that it plans a legal challenge of the process by which it granted BAA large price increases. The CAA said at the time that the rises are necessary to fund the capital investment that needs to be undertaken by BAA at Heathrow and Gatwick.
