The severe weather last month affected the number of travellers passing through Gatwick Airport. The airport saw a decrease of 5.4 percent compared to the same month last year as 1.87 million passengers used the hub.
Compared to last year, the number of passengers using Gatwick decreased for nearly all destinations, with flights to North America worst affected. However, the number of passengers taking scheduled flights to European destinations increased by around 6 percent.
