PSPs for Thomas Cook in-flight entertainment
15.06.10
Thomas Cook Airlines is to offer passengers the opportunity to enjoy personal in-flight entertainment by hiring hand-held Playstation Portables (PSPs) on flights for £7.50. Passengers can choose between 8 films, 7 TV programmes and children’s shows, plus the latest video games.
The holiday airline says the switch from generic entertainment to individual handsets was made as it noticed only one in ten of its passengers was watching in-flight entertainment previously provided. A spokesman said: ‘With the introduction of PSPs, we are giving holidaymakers a fantastic choice of movies and films at their fingertips. We are expecting them to be popular with adults and children alike.'
