Brussels Airlines switch flights from Heathrow

Brussels Airlines flights to its home base in the Belgian capital are to be switched from Gatwick to Heathrow. The airline will replace flights from Heathrow to Brussels axed by fellow Lufthansa subsidiary BMI on January 9.
The Belgian airline will run four flights a day between Brussels and Heathrow starting on January 10 using as mix of Boeing 737, Airbus A319 and Avro RJ aircraft. Network executive Erik Follett said: ‘By switching to London Heathrow we can give our passengers a better service, including better connections to our Star Alliance partner networks flying out of Heathrow.’
