Monarch extend online check-in

Monarch has extended its online check-in times, with the service now being available to passengers travelling on its scheduled flights up to 18 days prior to travel, up from 7 days previously, and as close as up to 4.5 hours before departure.
A spokesman said ‘We have seen big demand for online check-in, with more than 20% of our scheduled customers taking advantage of the service, in order to spend less time queuing at the airport. It's fantastic that we have been able to extend this facility from 7 to 18 days prior to travel. This allows passengers on a 14 night break to check-in for both their outbound and return flights, and print off all their boarding passes prior to leaving the UK.’
Online check-in can be used by all passengers with pre-allocated seats travelling on Monarch’s scheduled flights from or to Birmingham, Gatwick, Luton and Manchester airports. If seats have not been pre-allocated at the time of booking, this can be done during the check-in process at the standard pre-book charges (from £7.50). Alternatively, extra legroom seats, which offer an extra 6 inches of space, can be booked from £15 per flight.
