Gatwick airport meets the EU standard for mobility assistance to disabled persons. It has specially designated parking, embarkation and disembarkation assistance and induction loop systems for hearing assistance.

There is also an induction loop system at the airport to amplify announcements for passengers wearing hearing aids.
Staff who can use sign language are employed at the airport.
