Facilities at the north terminal
Check-in desks located on the second floor along with the departures area. Arrivals baggage collection, customs and immigration, and meeting areas are found on the ground floor of the terminal.
The terminal offers all the usual facilities, including shops, car hire desks and refreshment areas and there are airport lounges. The south terminal has more shops than the north terminal, including many high street names.
Both levels of gatwick airport north terminal have currency exchange bureaus and they remain open during flight times. There are ATMs (cash points) located throughout the terminal. There is a designated smoking are within the leisure and refreshments areas.
First aid facilities are available 24 hours daily and a prayer room is also provided.
The north terminal is connected to the south terminal (and the gatwick airport train station) by a mono rail.
