Short term gatwick parking: Short stay car parking is recommended for stays of up to five hours. It is conveniently close to the terminal. Payment can be made at the automatic machines within or next to the terminal building, before returning to your vehicle.
Short term parking tariff (as at Spring 2008, and subject to change):
Upto 30 minutes £2.30
30 minutes - 1 hour £3.80
1 -2 hours £5.40
2 -3 hours £6.70
3 - 4 hours £8.20
4 - 5 hours £9.20
5 - 6 hours £10.50
6 - 9 hours £12.50
9 - 12 hours £13.50
12 - 18 hours £16.50
18 - 24 hours £19.50
Price per subsequent 24 hours or part thereof £19.50
Long term car park: the on airport long term car park is further away from the two terminals than the short term car parks. Depending on where you park, you may need a bus to reach the terminal. The shuttle buses run every ten minutes with a journey time of less than five minutes.
The rates are comparatively low, but they do go up during the summer months. During the summer you need to pre-book, as the lot is often sold out (compare the prices of all gatwick airport car parks at this gatwick airport parking page).
Off airport parking: for stays of a weekend or longer (and certainly for a week or two week holiday) it is always cheaper to book 'off airport' gatwick parking. The only slight downside is that transfer time to and from the airport is slightly longer (15 - 20 minutes, rather than 10 - 15 minutes for on airport parking), but for a saving of up to 40%, and sometimes more, we think it's worth it.

Meet and Greet: with meet and greet airport parking you drive to the airport terminal, where you are met by a driver. The driver takes your car and parks it for you. On your return you are met by a drive with car at the airport terminal, so that you can make a speedy exit and be on your way.
Often used by business travelers, it is also great for those travelling with the young, old or disabled. It is expensive for short trips, but for stays of a week or more, it isn't very much more expensive than on airport parking. Disabled parking: Clearly signed blue / orange badge parking is available in the multistorey car parks of both terminals, for short stay parking. There is long term parking for orange / blue badge holders in car park three of South Terminal.
If you would like to book off airport parking, both Airparks and APH offer assistance to disabled customers and their buses are designed to provide wheelchair access.
Motorbike parking: There is free motorcycle parking in the NCP North Terminal Car Park in the designated bays. At the South Terminal motorcycles can be parked either under the down ramp or in the designated bays in Car Parks 1 and 3 and in the designated bays found on all floors of Car Park 2. Motorcyclists should take a ticket as normal on entry, then get it validated free of charge on exit at the kiosk.
